PALI was established by Fellows during the 2014 Mandela Washington Fellowship to support young Africans aspiring to take up political leadership. The Pan African Leadership Incubator (PALI) was conceptualized by young leaders from different African countries who undertook the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders at the Presidential Precinct, University of Virginia in July 2014 at the invitation of the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama.
PALI has been developed by over 40 Fellows from across the continent of Africa who believe in the development of Africa’s ethical and effective leadership. The Incubator, seeks to provide training and promote interaction among young people from different political inclinations, and is being piloted in Kenya and Zambia, with time and enough resources, PALI will be established in other African countries.
